Food was 4/5 and service was 0/5 so I’m giving two generous stars. What should have been a 45 min meal ended up being 2 hours. We ended u asking for our dessert three times (then they charged us twice) and we asked for our bill three times. Finally we put money on the table and walked out. We would have probably waited an additional 30 min for the bill. No way Jose. I’m leaving. Hire more people!!!!! 😡🤬😡🤬😡🤬😡🤬
Excellent and various Burmese food - highly recommended
Never had tried Burmese food before prior to this restaurant so I can't speak to the accuracy of flavor, but that said, everything was very delicious. The potato and tomato dish was an excellent appetizer. The quality of ingredients did not disappoint and the dishes themselves were all very delicious. I ate here two times because I had liked it so much.Definitely would recommend if you want something you can't find back home. Also, very reasonable prices and relaxing atmosphere. My only small complaint would be that although the ambience is very nice, the fountains and standing water in the exotic plants are a good place for mosquitoes to hang out too. Douse yourself in mosquito spray before dinner and have a taste of Burma.Service met expectations as well so definitely no complaints in that department.8/10
Not the best value place but if you’ve been living here for a while it’s nice to change things up and try some other cuisines. Food is good but not amazing, the mains were around 150 baht a dish and appetizers around 80 baht. A lot of the northern Thai food seems borrowed from their Burmese neighbours because you can see the similarities in some of the dishes. The atmosphere is great there though you feel like you’re dining out in the jungle. #BeatTheGrind
I keep coming back to this lovely Burmese restaurant! The place serves delicious satisfying food, with my favourites being Lat Pat Thoke (Burmese tea leaf salad) and Hinlay Curry. The vegetarian options are great.
We went out to The Swan the other day and it the food was just amazing, the restaurant is nice and open and relaxed. The food is some of the best Burmese food in Chiang Mai. Each dish had great taste and varied flavors.
This has been an outstanding experience. Quick service even when well frequented in the weekend. Food: absolutely delicious, first encounter with Burmese kitchen. Prices totally adequate given the quality of food, service and restaurant interior.Try the cucumber salad as a side with whatever you're having. Spicy Burmese take on curry plus chopped pork on noodles that have been boiled in delicious stock. Marvellous.
Good place with decent service. The prices are a bit higher for the food. The food itself was average and nothing to write home about. The dishes didn’t have too much flavor or spice and felt a little bland. One dish was pretty salty too. Take this place or leave it.
Tasty dishes with plenty of choices on the menu. On the expensive side. Nice atmosphere. Plad oop was delicious.
Absolutely amazed! Delicious food and very affordable, good portion size. The service is great as well.
This is my second time to have Burmese. Chilling ambience. Good tea leaf saladDefinitely come back
It was nice for quick lunch. Bit too expensive
Delicious and inexpensive food
The food was pretty good. Nice and cozy place without air-conditioning. The price is fair in that area.(around 150b)
Really, really good food and for a cheap price with a good service. The eggplant salad is delicious!
Beutiful atmosphere. Came on a friends recommendation ordered a little bit of everything and then ate everything. Amazing food, try the tea leaf salad! Only disappointment we did not leave room for dessert.
I have had some incredibly delicious food here. I have also been disappointed on several occasions. They have a great menu, nice atmosphere, and beautiful presentation. If they were more consistent I would give them five stars. Convenient location just outside of the moat, not too far from Tha Pae Gate. Good for groups. I recommend giving it a try.
Went here to meet up with Friends. The Food was healthy, if a bit on the bland side, and a good size. $4+We were served and left to our own devices. They seemed more interested in the "young" group of people that had come in, and were way more attentive to them.We tried to ask for the bill several times to no avail. I raised my voice a little to get the waiters attention as he was too busy laughing and chatting to the other group. Before we departed I used the bathroom. Not clean at all. I found 5 staff members lounging on the seating at the rear of restaurant playing on their phones.....not a good look. I'm now back in Chiang Mai and willing to give it another chance.
We went twice to this restaurant. Very good food and service. Would recommend this 5/5!!
Always enjoyable here. Try the Tea Leaf Salad and the Chicken Meatballs (pictured), simply delicious!
Nice backyard where we sat comfy, quick and nice service. We really enjoyed the burmese food, especially the green tea leaf salad. The waiter asked how spicy we like the main meal, what is very mindful of him.
Salad was delicious. The other food was so so. The atmosphere n service were excellent
Excellent food. Fast service and courteous staff. Will definitely return again with my 6 friends
Bit pricy in Thailand standard. The food was nice. Interior was good too.The entrance was bit hard to find. There are bunch of pubs and other things. entrance was small and bit hard to find.
The best food since I am in Thailand, must go.
The lar pat toke, chad jam, and khao soy nhak are very, very good. I highly recommend these dishes when you visit.
The tree leave salad is amazing!!!!Totally would’ve come again just for that saladMango sticky rice and fried meat balls are good picks too! However, the cucumber/ cabbage served with fish dipping sauce was terrible, the sauce was way too salty and spicy, to be honest, can’t really tastes anything in that sauce except salt and chili : (
Fantastic food and amazing prices. Very strong cocktails. Had a great night.
AMAZING!! Fresh, healthy, flavorful food. The fermented tea leaf salad filled my soil with pure bliss!!
Great food, service and atmosphire 👌
Best Burmese cuisine can be found here! We love almost everything we've ordered.
This place is awesome. Cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and great drinks. I had no idea what Burmese food entailed before visiting but I was blown away by how delicious EVERYTHING was.
Always a good meal and great service.
Amazing experience, food is great ad super low price... And they have a beautiful cat 🐈
Very nice venue. They do amazing burmese food, they have very good prices and their staff is friendly and speak very good english. Also very good location!
Lovely food and owners! Will definitely come back soon :)
Fantastic burmese restaurant! I have eaten there many times and tasted many different dishes and they have all been absolutely delicious. Service has been also friendly and fast. Highly recommendable!
Fantastic Burmese food. A must try!
Wife and I had dinner here. Primarily came here for Burmese cuisine hoping to find Khoi Soi. They didn't have it, but ended up trying something else which wasn't too bad. Very easy on the pocket. Service can be slow. Lots of mosquitoes, but they give mosquito repellent cream. Wouldn't recommend against this place if you are around and are looking for places to eat.
Nice cafe with nice atmosphere & lots of plants & Thai furniture. The food was resonantly proved. They charge a surcharge here which is fair enough but I'd prefer to Tip voluntarily & if the food & service achieves that. The food was nicely presented but not very spicy. I had a Burmese curry which was a bit bland. I was surprise at the lack of kick or wow in the food. However I will go back & try some of the other dishes. Overall 3 stars with room for improvement.
Great and special food! Healthy raw salads with nuts and spiced very differently- Birma Style. I really enjoyed this restaurant. Best choices for me: the salads. Spicy, with nuts and crispy beans/lentils.
This was really interesting food. Real variety in flavours and very different to what we had been tasting. The owner was very knowledgeable about gluten free food as well.
Nice food from Myanmar, with diligent and smiling staff, fast service. Premises are a it dark, but nice collection of traditional puppets...
How did I never know about this place? Everything was amaze, many vegetarian eats.
Good food, traditional burmese style. The service was good quality. Would steer clear of the Margarita unless you want just pure tequila and some lemon juice. The Swan Breeze cocktail was delicious.
The tea salad was good but vegetable tempura and fish dish were not good. Service was pretty bad and we came in afternoon when it wasn’t busy. Wouldn’t recommend.
Tea Leaf Salad and Beef Curry are bomb! Food comes out rather quickly, so no need to order everything at once. Tea Leaf is large enough as an entree or to share amongst 2 people for an appetizer.
Massive love for this place, so much so I advise my clients to come here. Amazing food, fantastic service, makes me miss living in Burma every time, but then it also reminds me of the amazing food and hospitality I had living in Burma a few years back - come here, you wont be disappointed if you want authentic Burmese food!
One of the best restaurant in town! Burmese, thai and western choices. Delicious coconut shake! We went there multiple times and it was excellent every time!
The food is delicious and great service. Good value for money too.
